Halloween: Take Two

Well...on Halloween in New York they have this really big Parade that marches up 6th Ave from Downtown. It's kind of like a mix of Gay Pride and...... well...... Halloween. Anyone is welcome to come out and join the Parade so at the starting point it ends up being a giant mash of floats and people in crazy costumes just hanging out and being crazy.

I went down to check out the festivities and to take some pictures. I have to say that I was a little disappointed with the lack of homemade costumes but overall it was pretty great. I wasn't in the biggest party mood so after an hour or so of jamming myself through the crowd to look at some spectacle or another I got tired and went home.

Here are some of my favorite costumes of the night. Note that the Dragon totally breathed huge sparks out its mouth and there was not one, but two different versions of Daft Punk walking around.
