It begins.

So, in America, Thanksgiving is the Official start of the Holiday Season. The day after("Black Friday") is the day that all American's get like 99% of their X-Mas shopping done. The stores all open at like 6AM and have big sales and it basically sounds like the scariest thing ever.

Before that though there is a big parade here in NY with giant floating monsters that roam the streets devouring children. It's pretty great. You can go and watch it all happen on the street and freeze your ass off and get pushed around by a million young parents with SUV strollers, or you can watch it all go down on T.V. with a perfect view and really funny commentary, while eating bacon and eggs, which is the option we chose.

Although we didn't see the parade first hand we did follow rumors of up-close viewings of all of the monsters the night before the parade and found them to be true, but also a really badly kept secret.
